Scrapes, scratches, and the Gospel

Today was our last day in Ban Lung but we made the most of it. We started our journey with a one hour trek by motos to Thun village. After a few scrapes and scratches for Ed and the loss of the brakes on my moto (leading to my scrapes and scratches), we arrived very dusty at Thun. There were about 35 people in the small room. We were a bit late so they all graciously sang an extra song so we coud hear it. Kreg was asked to give the message and I gave a short testimony. There were a few questions after Kreg had finished which he asked Ed to answer. It was great to be a part of the emerging church in this area.

I'll bet that you were covered from head to tail with that red dust! I remember when we were returning from one of the villages in Kevin's car, and that couple on a moto went down right in front of us. The dust was so thick that it not only made them lose control of the moto, but we couldn't see them, we were all in a cloud of red dust! I'm sorry for your scrapes and scratches, but glad that there wasn't a car behind you when it happened! No brakes on those roads?!! I'll bet that was an adrenaline rush!
Sounds like a precious time at church, I do praise God for this time that you have been able to share with our brothers and sisters in Cambodia.
