Krung Bible School - Day Two

Suan, a young man from one of the villages to the north, did the teaching today. As he went through Galatians 3 and 4, he made many references to Romans where we have been studying in our small group. Although the teaching was in Krung, I was able (with Kreg's help)to follow along pretty good. There was a bit of discussion just before the break surrounding the word "cursed". Apparently, there are two different words for it in the Krung language. It appears, one word is used as a noun and one as a verb and there was disscussion if the correct word was being used (Just like at home when a rabbit trail gets started). Suan was finally able to pull everyone back in. He ended with a bit of humor saying that he was teaching about freedom all morning and now he was free since his lesson was finally done. Freedom in Christ is needed for the Krung to truly free themselves from the oppression of the enemy.

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." Galatians 5:1

Thanks for the update, it sure is appreciated, and very much looked forward to. If you have an opportunity, I would love to hear the story of Suen's wife Maen stepping on the snake. Do the people in the village realize that her God protected her, even though they didn't participate in the village sacrifice? Do they know that there brothers and sisters were praying for them specifically at that time? I am still in awe of God's timing in all of that!

I really should read my comment BEFORE I post it! While I can still make a correction!
